A recent landmark study found that 80% of India’s population are vulnerable to extreme weather events. In a country of 1.4 billion people, that means hundreds of millions live directly in the crosshairs of cyclones, floods and droughts. From the shores of Puri on India’s northeast coast, we hear how a changing climate will impact those in risk zones and the kind of weather-proofing they’ll need.
